Joseph Ashitey Hammond Foundation(HammondFoundation) is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Joseph Hammond, a true hero who dedicated his life to serving humanity. At the age of 99, Joseph Ashitey Hammond continues to inspire us with his unwavering commitment to Peace and contributing to the needs of society.
Joseph Ashitey Hammond served during the Second World War with the Royal Electrical Mechanic Engineers Unit (REME) in the Gold Coast Regiment, 82nd West Africa Division.
At Joseph Ashitey Hammond Foundation, our mission is to:
- Honor the legacy of Joseph Ashitey Hammond by continuing his vision for lasting Peace and Development.
- Help the vulnerables and deprived in society.
- Offer practical solutions to address these challenges.
- Inspire and empower individuals to make a positive difference in their communities.
Veterans Support Program
Providing assistance and support to veterans, particularly those from Africa, who have served their countries with valor and dedication.

Engaging in community-based initiatives to address issues such as healthcare, education, and poverty alleviation whiles pursuing peaceful coexistence in our communities.
Youth Empowerment
Empowering the next generation of leaders through mentorship programs, educational scholarships, and skills development initiatives.
Humanitarian Aid
Providing relief and support to communities affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and other humanitarian crises.
